Noted and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Guadalajara (2009) as a Romanesque baptismal font consisting of a hemispheric basin decorated with a thick roll moulding at the upper rim, and a pattern of broad ribs all around the sides and underbowl; raised on a crude and squat quadrangular base. The Enciclopedia… (ibid.) relates it to the fonts at Bochones and Villaescusa de Palositios [cf. BSI entries]: "En la nave sur, adosada posteriormente, se halla encastrada en su muro oeste la pila bautismal, formada por un brocal de moldura convexa y una copa de gallones. La vinculamos con los testimonios de las pilas de Bochones o Villaescusa de Palositos."
