Noted and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Guadalajara (2009) as a Romanesque baptismal font made up of two basins, both probably of the 13th century; the actual basin is of a type found in the Guadalajara fonts of Abánades, Cereceda and Salmerón, roughly hemispherical with a very thick moulding at the upper rim, and sixteen very broad protruding ribs all around the lower sides and underbowl; it is raised on a round base of almost hemispherical shape, identified in the Enciclopedia… as the half-buried re-cycled basin of another 13th-century font; it apppears to have a ribbed pattern on it as well, but it is very weathered.
