Noted and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Guadalajara (2009) as a mid-13th century limestone font of a design common in the region: hemispherical basin with moulding at the upper rim, with a ribbed pattern of broad ribs topped with round arch-heads; raised on a plain and narrow truncated-cone base. The Enciclopedia… (ibid.) points out the similarity of this font to those at Alcorlo and Villaescusa de Palositos, and with those of nearby Bustares, El Ordial and Prádena de Atienza [cf. Index entries].
