Noted in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Guadalajara (2009) as a baptismal font in the Renaissance style located at the west end of the nave, under the gallery. Described in Historia de la Comarca de Cubillas del Pinar [www.histgueb.net/libro-alberto/HISTORIA-CUBILLAS-CAP-10-2020-04-23.pdf] [accessed 3 December 2020] :"pila bautismal, situada en la parte trasera de la nave, debajo del altillo del coro, es de piedra, de forma circular concoidea donde podrían haberse producido bautismos de recién nacidos por inmersión. La pila bautismal –posiblemente del siglo XV o XVI". [NB: we have no information on the font of the original Romanesque church]
