Noted in García Gómez (2007) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period decorated with a ribbed pattern with a row of arches above. The Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Guadalajara (2009) notes a number of similar late-Romanesque baptismal fonts that include the one in rhe church of Santa María del Rey, in Atienza, province of Guadalajara, and those at Fresno de Caracena No. 2, Losana, Hoz de Arriba, Torrevicente and Peralejo de los Escuderos, in Soria province.
