Noted and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Guadalajara (2009), as a font of the 13th century consisting of a cylindrical basin decorated with a arcade of round arches on columns with capitals and bases; some of the arches contain a Greek cross, others are blank; ribbed pattern on the underbowl, replicated on the piping pattern on the cylindrical stem; rests directly on the ground. This same source points out the similarity of the stem of this font with others of the region, especially the ones on the fonts of the churches of San Bartolomé and San Gil, both in Atienza. The Enciclopedia… notes also the fonts at Las Inviernas and Villaseca de Henares as cognates.
