Glynne (1877) does not mention a font in his 1831 visit to this church, but notes: "within the south porch is a plain stoup" [NB: Glynne sometimes uses the terms 'Curvilinear' and "Rectilinear' as periods or styles of English architecture; they are part of a later expansion of Rickman's better-known four periods/styles; these two correspond roughly to the Decorated and the Perpendicular periods respectively -- Glynne uses the terms alternatively, and at times mixing terms from each system]. [NB: we have no information on the medieval font of this church]
