Glynne (1877) notes: "The font is ugly". A font in this church is illustrated in the Kent History Forum [http://www.kenthistoryforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=2835.0] [accessed 16 February 2010]. The basin is cylindrical with constructional half-columns with moulded capitals; on a plain cylindrical stem and a round lower base with graded moulding. The font appears modern. [NB: the fabric of the church goes back to the early-13th century, but we have no information on the medieval font]
