Noted and illustrated in Carita (2009); baptismal font of the Indo-Portuguese period/style consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a rope moulding on the upper basin side, a band of (lotus?) leaves below, and a ribbed pattern that continues down the underbowl; the square stem has inverted graded steps at the top, with (lotus?) leaves on the sides, with pairs of rampant dragons on the sides [Carita (ibid.) relates them to the Hindu myth of the dragon Vritra], and, again, inverted graded mouldings with (lotus?) leaves and flowers on the sides; the lower base is decorated with (lotus?) leaves and is also square. The whole is painted (?) a shiny ochre colour.
