Noted in Glynne (1877): "The font is a small octagonal bowl on a large base, which does seem originally to belong to it." The present font is modern. [NB: the original fabric of the church goes back to Norman times, but we have no information on its font]. [NB: a local source at Ringwould informs: "The Church underwent severe 'restoration' in the 1870's it could be that the original was removed then. If you give me some details I'll try to find out what happened to it. The current font was moved in the late 1960's from the North aisle to it's current West end position."]
