Harrison (1920) reports a baptismal font of the Transitional period in this church; he further notes a "stoup in the old N[orth] wooden porch (late 13th c)". Described and illustrated in the CRSBI (2008): "The font is located at the W[est] end of the nave. It is made from local limestone, except for the four corner shafts, which are of Sussex marble. They may be modern. The bowl is square, shaped like a cushion capital, with a rebate around the top, as if to receive a lid. The interior is circular and lead-lined. Staples from a lock survive in the SE and NW spandrels of the upper surface, and there is a chip on the NW corner. The lower part of the bowl is moulded to form capitals for the fat central column and four angle columns that support it. These have water-holding bases. This stands on a low, rectangular plinth." [cf. Index entry for Wisborough Green No. 2 for the 13th-century stoup in this church]
