Noted and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Guadalajara (2009) as a baptismal font in the Romanesque style probably of the 13th century, either from the original Romanesque church that was replaced by the present 16th-century building, or brought over from one of the rural chapels or churches of the neighbourhood. The font consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with eight protruding vertical piping spaced around the outside of the basin and linked around the bottom by a roll moulding; it is raised on truncated cone shaped squat base. It is a crude piece of local craftsmanship. This source points out similar fonts in the area at Sotoca del Tajo and Valderrebollo.
