Baptismal font noted in Wilson (1870) as located at the west end of the nave, under the galler, on the south side. The font, like the church itself, is probably of the mid-18th century [NB: this source notes that the church/chapel was being re-built, which may mean there had been a font in the earlier chapel]. Wilson (ibid.) notes the ruins of a Norman chapelry nearby at Tughall, but we have no information on whether or not a font existed in it.
