A baptismal font inside the 'humilladero', a rural chapel located just outside the village (direction Segovia capital), is illustrated in Sánchez Rivera & González Fraile (2009); the font consists of a large hemispherical basin decorated with a pattern of diagonal ribs all around, raised on a moulded round-to-square base. Date unknown, perhaps 17th-century? The flat and round woden cover is painted green and appears modern. [NB: the parish church of the village, Iglesia parroquial de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, is said to date from the 12th- or 13th century, but we have no information on its original font]
