Cox (1875) reports the earliest part of the church as dating to the early 14th century, and mentions a modern font in it. The modern font consists of a plain octagonal basin with chamfered rim, raised on a cluster of moulded columns and a circular plinth. The wooden cover is octagonal and flat, with metal decoration and ring handle; also modern. [NB: we have no information on the earlier font of this church]
