Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin with vertical sides, chamfered at both ends; the otherwise plain sides contain an inscription with the date 1662 and the names of the church wardens of the time. As was the case with some Restoration fonts, they are earlier fonts that had been previously discarded and were restored to their churches in the mid-17th century; many of them were inscribed with the date of the restoration and the names of the churchwardens; at the time some re-tooling did take place in some cases. There appears to have been a plaque of some sort adhered to the side on which the date appears.
