'On the ancient stone fonts of Cornwall' (1851) notes the font at St. Mary, Biscovey, as a modern imitation of a medieval font. The modern font in the modern church [the old church has disappeared, probably with the old font] is illustrated in A Snap in Time [http://www.caerkief.co.uk/Churches/Par.html] [accessed 27 November 2009] under the entry for Par (St. Blazey Gate). [NB: we found no record of an earlier church here].
