Described in Bond (1908) as octagonal mounted and dated to the 15th century. Noted and illustrated in James (2009) [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1310892] [accessed 17 November 2009]]: "The bowl is thought to be 15th century. The large piece of granite in which it is set is half the base of the St. Kea cross that used to stand at the road junction at SW833414." The octagonal basin has an east panel decorated with a floral motif inscribed in a pointed quatrefoil; the underbowl is rounded with graded mouldings, and has at the front some sort of foilated motif; plain cylindrical stem; round-to-square lower base: roll moulding at the top, spurs or knobs at the angles of the square. The wooden cover is round and flat; appears modern.
