Noted in Cox (1912): "Squared bowl of font, found under floor in 1874, is Norm[an], base shafts modern." The square basin has pairs of saltires on each side; raised on a modern base consisting of a brad central shaft and four outer colonnettes; on a sqaure lower base, also modern.
