Parker (1855) reports this church already in ruins and replaced [not on the same site] by a new church dedicated to St. Mary. Knott (2008) informs that the old church "was badly damaged by a towe fall in 1744, and eventually abandoned". [NB: we have no information on its old font, assumed lost]
