Noted in Parker (1855): "Font, an octagon, with panelled bowl". The octagonal basin has vertical sides decorated with deeply-carved floral motifs inscribed in pointed quatrefoils; graded underbowl chamfer; octagonal stem quth centre ring moulding; on an octagonal plinth. The wooden coveris octagonal and flat, with moulded top and sides, and metal handles on the top; modern.
