Noted in Parker (1855): "Font, a plain octagon". Illustrated in Knott (2007?), who writes: "The church has two fonts. One of them, the Victorian one, is set at the east end of the north aisle […] The medieval one is at the other end of the aisle". The font is not totally plain: it has a moulding at the upper rim of the basin, and an angular moulding at the bottom creates the underbowl chamfer; the pedestal base is broad and octagonal at the upper end, gets narrower and, right before the very bottom, becomes square with spurs above. The plain octagonal wooden cover is thin and modern.
