Parker (1855) reports: "The font is unquestionably of more modern date [i.e., than most of the late-medieval church], being a rectangular wooden pillar, containing a blue and white crockery basin; in the porch is a broken stoup." Knott (2007?) mentions a modern font "which Mortlock tells us is in the Sicilian-Norman style. Supported by eight elegant columns, it is very beautiful, and the angel in particular is one of Suffolk's loveliest." Knott (ibid.) shows another font in an exterior shot of the church: a much worn octagonal font standing outside the church; could it be late-medieval?
