There are three entries for this Barningham in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/TL9676/barningham/] [accessed 8 November 2019], one of which reports "1 church. 0.12 church lands" in it. Parker (1855) writes: "Font, D[ecorated], octagonal in shape". The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: TL9678576892] notes: "Parish church. C14 and later; restored 1877. The font consists of an octagonal basin decorated with varied tracery on the sides, and with graded mouldings on the underbowl; raised on a plain octagonal pedestal base. The wooden cover has a box-like base and crocketed vertical ribs on it; 17th-century?
