Described in Parker (1855): "A font, with roses, leaves, and vine-branhes carved on the stem". The present font, however, is a Victorian replacement, noted and illustrated in Knott (2008?); the replacement font is octagonal, with a crenellated upper rim, and with traceried patterns on the basin sides; raised on a moulded octagonal stem and a small plinth, all octagonal. Octagonal and flat wooden cover, also modern. [NB: we have no information on the whereabouts of the earlier font]
