Font Notes:
Parker (1855) notes: "The font has a good, but mutilated, crocketed cover." That must be the font that was moved to Ipswich St. Nicholas' in the 1860s, according to Knott (2008). The recent [7 August 2008] illustration of the church interior of St. Lawrence in Knott (2008) shows an octagonal font of late date [Victorian?] and no cover on it. [cf. Index entry for Ipswich No. 5, St. Nicholas', for the font originally from St. Lawrence]
