Font Notes:
Noted in Parker (1855) as a plain octagonal font. Noted and illustrated in Knott (2003, 2007). The font consists of an octagonal basin with a chamfered upper rim, the bottom of the basin decorated with a double roll moulding; raised on a set of four clustered columns with moulded capitals and bases; on a modern octagonal plinth. An inscription painted on the side of the basin is a later (Victorian?) addition.
