Font Notes:
Noted in Parker (1855): "Font, D[ecorated], an octagon, with panelled bowl". The font consists of an octagonal basin with vertical sides decorated with varied tracery patterns, a different one on each side, and a graded chamfer on the underbowl; raised on a plain octagonal pedestal base, a plain octagonal lower base and an octagonal plinth. The base appears to be either re-tooled or a modern replacement. No cover present.
