Guilford (1927) mentions a 17th century font in this church, probably the same one referred to in Cox (1912) as "pedestal font". The object consists of a small round basin with moulded rim and underbowl, raised on a plain cylindrical stem and moulded lower base -- the rest of the slides did not include the earlier font].
