There are four entries for [East and West] Leake [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/XX0000/east-and-west-leake/] [accessed 3 April 2016], one of which reports a priest and a church in it. Cox (1912) notes a modern octagonal font in this originally Norman church; the new font likely from the 1878 renovation of the church. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original church here]
