Font Notes:
Noted in Cox (1912) and in Guilford (1927) as a baptismal font of the Norman period. In Pevsner & Williamson (1979): "Norman, with tall arcades." The tub-shaped font has a moulding at the upper rim, and a blind arcade of round arches around its sides; stands on a circular lower base and a round plinth, the latter (and perhaps the former) modern. The wooden cover is an octagonal pyramid with a Latin cross finial; appears modern, probably 19th-century.
