Pevsner & Williamson (1979) note: "Font. Elaborate, with low-relief carving, modelled on the form of Lenton Abbey font". [NB: this modern church was opened in 1939; the original font from Lenton Priory, later at the Holy Trinity Church, Lenton]. The modern font may be 'inspired' on the Lenton font but it does not have Lenton's imagery on it.
