Noted in Kelly's Directory of 1881: "there is a fine stone font (formerly in the old church)". Cox (1912) notes: "Font and three bells survive from old church". Dated in Guilford (1927) as Decorated. Described in Pevsner & Williamson (1979): "Perp[endicular], from the old church, octagonal, with various fanciful castellated tracery patterns."
