The Somerset Historic Environment Record [http://webapp1.somerset.gov.uk/her/details.asp?prn=10173] [accessed 30 September 2009] notes: "The font originally stood inside the west door. The octagonal bowl may be earlier than the 1400s stem." [NB: the font was moved to the south transept]. Illustrated in Flickr [http://www.flickr.com/photos/byjr/2945119188/] [accessed 30 September 2009]. The font consists of an octagonal basin with plain vertical sides, the underbowl chamfered, raised on a panelled octagonal stem and a moulded lower base; on a modern octagonal plinth; the inner basin is lead lined. The basin may be 15th-century, though the base may be later. Not mentioned in Pvsner (1958).
