The present font is octagonal, with decorated panels on the basin and stem, and symbols (one of them a cross) on the underbowl chamfer; probably 19th-century. A similar font can be found at nearby Orcheston St. Mary. Orcheston St. George's church has a Norman doorway now covered by the 19th-century vestry [NB: the old font may have been replaced at the time of that renovation; we have no information on its whereabouts]
