The National Monumets Record [http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/details/default.aspx?id=263311] [accessed 25 September 2009] describes the font but not the plinth: "octagonal font with plain bowl on moulded base with Tudor roses in undercoving, C14/C15, with a cover in C17 style."
