The National Monuments Record, English Heritage [http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/details/default.aspx?id=264371] [accessed 18 September 2009] notes: "Octagonal Perpendicular-type font, probably recut." Not mentioned in Pevsner (1958). The font, if the NMR above is correct, has been completely re-cut. Otherwise it would have to be dated to the 19th century.
