The National Monuments Record, English Heritage [http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/details/default.aspx?id=433731] [accessed 17 September 2009] notes a 14th-century holy-water "stoup with a finial" adjacent the south doorway; this source also mentions a font, but it is a 19th-century piece dating from the Victorian renovation of the church. The stoup is wall-mounted, and consists of a polygonal basin with heavily moulded front and a backdrop with a floral finial. Kelly's Directory of 1883 reports a font of that year "in varied marble" newly erected in the baptistery [there is no mention of the whereabouts of the replaced font].
