Illustrated in ChurchCrawler [http://www.geocities.com/churchcrawler/bristol/as_city.htm] [accessed 16 September 2009]. The present baptismal font is a neo-Norman Victorian affair, square, with three scallops at the bottom of the panels; the panels are decorated with a large motif on each (cross, floral, etc.); on a traditional Norman-type base: broad cylindrical shaft adorned at the lower end with a roll moulding and four spurs, raised on a two-volume lower base/plinth. The wooden cover is flat, probably Victorian as well. [NB: we have no information on the original font from the Norman church]
