Special Collections Dept., done by Harvey Pridham September 1887 accompanied by the following description: "The church in which this font stands was for many years, until 1885, a ruin: but it was then restored. The font always kept its position. It is all circular except the modern octagonal base. Circular bowl inside, lined with lead, following outside curve, flat bottom, 4 1/2 margin, 11 1/2 deep. Modern cover." Not mentioned in Pevsner (1958).
