Drawing of a font in the Harvey Pridham Drawings of English Fonts (MS 56). [Folder Number, Item Description]. University of Colorado at Boulder Libraries. Special Collections Dept., done by Harvey Pridham September 1887 accompanied by the following description: "The church in which this font stands was for many years, until 1885, a ruin: but it was then restored. The font always kept its position. It is all circular except the modern octagonal base. Circular bowl inside, lined with lead, following outside curve, flat bottom, 4 1/2 margin, 11 1/2 deep. Modern cover." Not mentioned in Pevsner (1958). The National Monuments Record, English Heritage [http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/details/default.aspx?id=266702] [accessed 11 September 2009] notes a "scraped Norman tub font" in this church.
