Special Collections Dept., done by Harvey Pridham in September 1887 accompanied by the following description: "This font is the only feature left of the Medieval Church. The existing structure was built by one of the Paget Family, of Cranmore Hall, adjacent, in or about 1848. All circular except the octagonal base. Circular bowl inside, of basin shape, lead lined, 3 1/8 margin, 10 3/4 deep. Flat modern cover. Position, on left (W) side, entering by S. porch." No font mentioned in Pevsner (1958). [NB: the font at West Cranmore St. Bartholomew's is 19th-century]
