Font Notes:
The Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/soria_REJAS_DE_SAN_ESTEBAN.pdf] [accessed 2 September 2025] mentions no font in this church. The baptismal font consists of a very large hemispherical basin decorated with only a thin moulding at the upper rim, mounted on a later-date (?) quadrangular base. The basin is difficult to date, since it is of the size and shape of basins made in this region between the 12th and the 18th century, practically without change. Although the fabric of the church goes back to the 12th century, it is more likely to be either of the later centuries, or have undergone extensive re-tooling at a late date. [cf. Index entry for Rejas de San Esteban No. 1 for a Romanesque font listed in the other church of this same viillage]
