Baptismal font characteristic of the 'Credo' series by the Zabreri brothers workshop; the octagonal basin bears the beginning of the Credo text on the sides; the tall underbowl chamfer is decorated with emblems [IHS}, charged shields and the usual leaves and scallops; the stem is round with a prominent octagonal ring bearing an inscription/letters; the lower base is round to octagonal and also bears an inscription. The metal font cover with a large statue of St. John the Baptist is modern [1950; donated by the Cavigliasso family, according to the inscription on its sides]
