Fragment of a basin said to have been originally a holy-water stoup; there is a double moulding at the upper rim; one wound arch with columnar support remains, inside the arch a crowned head; there must have been other motives to the right, but the espace to the right is not carved, probably meant to go against a wall or corner. [NB: a carved marble holy-water stoup of the 13th century is listed in Palissy [ref.: PM66000033] as having been stolen in 1962, but the listing gives no further details of the work].
