"A Pagliero, terra d’origine dei fratelli Zabreri, maestri della scultura in pietra, meritano una visita alcune opere, quali il fonte battesimale (1450) ed i capitelli delle colonne nella parrocchiale." [source: http://www.comune.roccabruna.cn.it [accessed 2 August 2009]]. The baptismal font bears the beginning of the Credo text on its narrow sides; the underbowl chamfer is decorated with the characteristic leaves and scallops of the Zabreri fonts, as well as charged shields and emblems (one of them "IHS"); the base is a moulded round pedestal with the characteristic octagonal centre ring, decorated with letteres and charged shields; the splaying lower base is round, with faded scallops on its top surface; they appear blank. The wooden cover is of the rim-buffet type, with a domed top.
