"scolpito fonte battesimale risalente al 1400 (opera dei fratelli Zabreri di Pagliero)." [source: http://www.vallidicuneo.net/elva.htm [accessed 8 July 2009]]. See the font and holy-water stoup illustrated in http://www.comunelva.it/ch_affreschi_arredi.htm [accessed 8 July 2009] -- and -- http://www.webalice.it/restaenzo/fonte%20battesimale1.jpg [accessed 8 July 2009]. The baptismal font, however, is not by the Zabreri workshop. This font is certainly not one of the Credo fonts characteristic of that workshop; it is instead a much cruder work consisting of two octagonal volumes, basin and base arranged mirror-like with four attached colonnettes in the middle; the upper volume, the basin, has the text of the Credo in panels framed by rope moulding; the underbowl appears to have scenes [not identified]; the lower volume, the base, also has scenes [unidentified] on the sides.
