The font consists of an octagonal basin with narrow sides bearing the beginning of the Credo text; the tall underbowl chamfer is slightly curved and is decorated with crowned emblems, charged shields, plants and scallops [NB: on this font a plant takes the place of the most common leaf at the angles]; the usual octagonal centre ring on am otherwise round pedestal stem, the sides of the ring bearing letters (?); the splaying lower base is round-to-octagonal, and is decorated with large leaves, two keys [St. Peter's?], etc.; there are mouldings on the stem and base. Two holy-water stoups "due acquasantiere del '400" are mentioned, as well as the font, in Chiese Romaniche e Gotiche di Piemonte a Vlle d'Aosta [https://www.chieseromaniche.it/Schede/1104-Monterosso-Grana-San-Pietro-in-Vincoli.htm] [accessed 24 August 2025]
