Noted in [http://www.ghironda.com/valgrana/rubriche/vg-arte.htm] [accessed 8 July 2009]: "fonte battesimale risalente al 1456 opera dell'officina dei fratelli Zabreri". One of the characteristic fonts 'Credo' fonts of the workshop; the octagonal basin bears the beginning of the Credo text on its sides; the tall underbowl chamfer is decorated with emblems [IHS], charged shields and the usual large leaves at the angles, and scallops at the bottom; the stem is round with a prominent octagonal centre ring bearing letters; the moulded lower base is round-to-octagonal and appears to have spur-like motifs on it.
