Blomefield (1805-1810) writes: "The Church is dedicated to all the Saints, and is leaded, as also the chancel; the south porch is tiled; there is a square tower and three bells [...] In Henry the Third's time [i.e., 1216-1272], Ralf de Skeyton, rector here, was only son of William, third son of Eudo". Farrar (1887 [1885?]) notes the royal arms of Queen Victoria on the west side of the font in this church. The octagonal mounted font and the tall wooden cover illustrated in Knott (2005) are both mid-19th century [NB: we have no information on the earlier font(s) of this church]
