Noted in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) as a Romanesque baptismal font consisting of a hemispherical basin decorated with a simple moulding at the upper rim, raised on a plain pedestal base and a quadrangular plinth. No cover present. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 11 April March 2021] notes: "Su iglesia, dedicada a la Asunción de Nuestra Señora, es románica, del siglo XIII [...] Tiene una pila románica, lisa."
